Role Overview: We are looking for a Groundworks gang to work on some minor civils project. The works will be working alongside Somerset council, working on basic groundworks, concrete, drainage etc. We are looking for a gang that is experienced in these sorts of works and can read/understand drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Groundworks, drainage and general minor civils on the project
- Deveg works
- Gang to be made up of a Ganger, Machine op and a groundworker
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Civils background
- SSSTS or SMSTS, 360, NRSWA, First Aid
- Any other tickets would be advantageous
- Ability to use initiative and work on jobs independently
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Desirable:
- First Aid certification
- Utility mapping experience
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours
