This is a full-time, on-site role for a Project Manager - Civils located in Taunton. The Project Manager will oversee civil engineering and construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to required standards. Responsibilities include:
- Managing project timelines
- Overseeing infrastructure development
- Coordinating teams
- Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
- Budget management
- Team leadership
- Effective communication with stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge and experience in Civil Engineering and Infrastructure projects - culverts, drainage, bridge repairs etc.
- Proven expertise in Construction Management and overseeing on-site operations
- Proficiency in Budgeting and financial planning for projects
- Demonstrated skills in Project Management, including scheduling, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication
- Ability to manage teams and deliver projects to a high standard while adhering to safety and compliance regulations
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Prior experience in similar civil engineering projects
- SMSTS / CSCS Managers card
