About this job
We are looking for a head cook, to cook homely meals for our elderly residents.
This suitable person needs to reliable trustworthy and able to flexible.
This role will involve:
- Consulting with residents regularly to ensure their needs and choices are being met
- Preparing special diets for residents directed by care staff
- Maintaining agreed stock levels and meal planning
- Completing daily hygiene checks and paperwork
- Implementing and maintaining a deep cleaning schedule in the kitchen, ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained
