Strategic Finance Manager (Payments & Commercial)

Founded in 2008 in Lithuania, Vinted began as a way for friends to find new homes for clothes they no longer needed. In 2019, we became Lithuania's first unicorn! Today, our headquarters remain in Vilnius, and we've grown with offices across Europe, supported by a team of over 2,000 people.

As Strategic Finance Manager, you will be responsible for owning the detailed financial modelling behind Vinted’s payments economics, building business cases for strategic growth, supporting commercial negotiations, and translating analysis into decision-ready executive narratives while partnering closely with multiple stakeholders.

Sitting at the intersection of finance & commercial, you will be exposed to negotiation, regulation, pricing and P&L within Vinted Pay, acting as the Commercial Director’s finance right hand. On a day-to-day basis, you will be embedded directly alongside the Business & Commercial team where your agenda is set, and combine this work with constant interactions with the Payments FP&A team, where your work will directly shape key commercial decisions across the organization.

In this position, you’ll:

• Own the financial modelling behind Vinted’s payments and commercial economics — vendor terms, PSP fees, card scheme costs and interchange.
• Build the financial impact for business cases that decide where Vinted Pay goes next: new payment methods, provider consolidation, in-housing vs. outsourcing.
• Support commercial negotiations.
• Model the commercial and P&L implications of options available under our EMI licences — and which are available to us via partners.
• Act as the Commercial Director’s finance right hand: turn negotiation positions into numbers, and numbers into a clear narrative.
• Translate analysis into decision-ready slides and stories for exec and board audiences.
• Quantify impact before and after the fact — build the case, then track whether it landed.

About you:

• Have experience in payments or fintech, with real fluency in the cost stack — interchange, scheme fees, acquiring, FX, alternative payment methods.
• Have a strong understanding of commercial modelling, building models others trust and can pick up.
• Proven in a fast-growing organisation and comfortable in a matrix — influence without authority is the default operating mode.
• Communicate like an operator, not an analyst. Can hold a room with the CFO and a PSP’s commercial team in the same week.
• Advantage: Knowledge of regulatory literacy around EMI / e-money.
