We’re a small, hands-on group responsible for the cleanliness, functionality, and overall upkeep of our spaces—ensuring every area is safe, welcoming, and well-maintained. About the role: As a Facilities Operative focused on cleaning and kitchen support, you’ll be at the heart of our daily operations. You’ll take pride in keeping our workspaces and communal areas clean, organised and well‑presented, while also supporting with food preparation and kitchen duties. Driving Excellence… As you settle in, you’ll look for ways to make our facilities even better, helping to improve our cleaning routines, suggest smarter ways of working, and ensure our kitchen and communal spaces always meet high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all facilities.
  • Support the kitchen team with food preparation and daily routines.
  • Create a safe, organised environment that enables teams to work at their best.
  • Carry out daily cleaning of workspaces, communal areas, restrooms, and kitchen facilities.
  • Assist in basic food preparation, such as washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces are kept clean and sanitised in line with health & safety regulations.
  • Operate dishwashing machines or manually wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen items.
  • Receive, check and store deliveries safely and efficiently, maintaining stock rotation.
  • Report any hazards or maintenance issues promptly to the Facilities Manager.

  • Experience in a cleaning, kitchen, or facilities support role.
