About the Programme: The Vinschool Advanced (Cambridge) Programme is an integrated bilingual program that offers teaching and learning across the frameworks of the Vinschool Education System, the Vietnamese national curriculum, and the Cambridge International Programmes of study.
What we need: Vinschool is seeking dynamic, experienced, professionally certified teachers to join our international teaching team. Successful applicants will teach the Cambridge Business and/or Economics Programme, following the relevant Cambridge International Curriculum Framework. They should be suitably qualified and experienced, fully committed to supporting students through both curricular and extracurricular activities.
Essential Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- Deliver high-quality subject‐specific instruction according to the Cambridge International Curriculum framework.
- Prepare curriculum, lesson plans, and teaching materials; manage and update information on the LMS.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet diverse student needs and learning styles.
- Assess and monitor student academic progress; provide timely feedback and support.
- Maintain and track student academic records, including timely updates of test results in the school's systems and preparation of student progress reports.
- Establish and maintain classroom expectations; monitor student behavior and social development.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and guardians regarding student progress and concerns.
- Develop and implement remedial programs for students requiring additional assistance.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events.
- Plan and contribute to extracurricular activities such as clubs and academic contests.
- Supervise students during non‐class times, including hall duty, morning gate duty, and other school supervision duties as assigned by the Principal or Vice Principal.
- Although the teacher's core teaching responsibility is their subject specialization, they may be allocated a second subject within their competency to support the school's program.
- Perform homeroom teacher responsibilities as assigned, including monitoring attendance, pastoral care, and communication with parents; an allowance is allocated for this responsibility.
- Perform additional professional duties as assigned by the Principal, Vice Principal or Lead Teacher.
Qualifications:
- Education Degree in a relevant field.
- Certification as applicable. Preference will be given to candidates with a Master’s degree.
Experience:
- 2 years of professional experience (acquired after obtaining a teaching qualification) within a formal school environment.
- Experience with the Cambridge International Curriculum is desired but not essential.
Language Proficiency: Fluent English speaker (minimum C1 fluency).
Soft Skills and Characteristics:
- Strong presentation, communication, problem‐solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Competency in class management, time management, interpersonal relations, and teamwork.
- Adaptable, patient, flexible, devoted, and a positive outlook.
