Vinos Latinos is one of the UK's leading specialist importers of South American wines, with a carefully curated range of around 100 lines from Uruguay, Argentina, Chile and beyond. We've been building relationships and championing these wines for 17 years.

We're looking for a passionate, self-motivated wine professional to join us as a Sales Agent covering London (on and off-trade) and surrounding areas.

The role

  • Developing new accounts and nurturing existing ones across London's restaurants, bars and independent wine merchants.
  • Representing a distinctive, story-rich portfolio that genuinely stands out in a crowded market.
  • Working independently but with full support — samples, materials, training and joint initial visits provided.

What makes this different

  • Commission is paid on every order your accounts place — not just the first one. Build a loyal customer base and your income grows with it.
  • Clear progression path: as your account base develops, we move to a retainer plus commission structure, with the possibility of employment for the right person.
  • You'll be representing wines with a real narrative — Uruguay's Tannat and Albariño, alongside some of the most exciting expressions coming out of that country; terroir-driven heritage varieties from Chile; and characterful wines from Argentina spanning both value and premium — to buyers who are increasingly looking beyond the mainstream.

What we're looking for

  • Wine knowledge equivalent to WSET Level 2 or above (formal certification not required).
  • Existing relationships in the London on or off-trade would be a strong advantage.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for Latin American wines and independent business.
  • This role suits someone with a complementary part-time income who wants to build something meaningful alongside it.

About us

Founded by a Uruguayan-born entrepreneur who started with just four pallets and built a respected specialist importer over 17 years, Vinos Latinos punches well above its weight. We work with wholesalers, independent retailers and the on-trade across the UK, and we're at an exciting stage of growth.
