We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented individual to support our bustling BMW & MINI used car department at the Gatwick dealership. This is an exciting opportunity to join a passionate team and play a key role in maximising the profitability of our used car operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Vehicle Appraisal: Appraise all incoming vehicles on the day they arrive.
- Advertising & Presentation: Ensure all used stock is advertised across third-party websites and presented to meet AUC guidelines.
- Cost Control: Work closely with the Workshop and Bodyshop Controllers to manage preparation costs.
- Vehicle Progression: Ensure all vehicles are processed for AUC and display preparation in a timely manner (within 7 working days).
- Photography: Ensure all vehicles are photographed within 5 working days of arrival.
- Display Management: Maintain the used car display in accordance with BMW/MINI and Vines Group standards.
- Vehicle Disposal: Ensure timely disposal of trade vehicles.
You’ll also manage robust administration systems, assist in sales staff allocation for forecourt display, and contribute to a safe and well-maintained working environment.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Experience in the Used Car Industry – Previous experience in a similar role or within the automotive sector is preferred but not essential.
- Strong Administration Skills – You’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate, up-to-date records.
- Excellent Communication Skills – Both written and verbal communication will be key to your success.
- Full UK Driving License – A valid driving license is required as you’ll be moving vehicles around the site.
