What You’ll Be Doing

This isn’t just a course – it’s your launchpad into the automotive world. Over 3 years, you’ll:

  • Train on the job at our Redhill site
  • Work alongside and be mentored by a qualified BMW Technician
  • Learn to diagnose, repair, and maintain cutting-edge BMW & MINI vehicles
  • Build real confidence in a real workshop environment

You’ll also get:

  • Regular check-ins with a BMW expert to support your development
  • Classroom training at the BMW Group Training Academy in Reading

By the end of your apprenticeship, you won’t just have experience you’ll have industry-recognised qualifications:

  • IMI Level 3 Motor Vehicle Service & Maintenance Technician
  • IMI Level 3 Automotive Refrigeration Handling
  • IMI Level 2 Electric / Hybrid Vehicles
  • IMI Accreditation Service Maintenance Technician

As an Apprentice Technician at Vines, you won’t just be watching from the sidelines — you’ll be hands‑on from day one. You’ll learn how to:

  • Service, maintain, and repair BMW & MINI vehicles
  • Diagnose faults using advanced BMW technology and tools
  • Work on everything from engines to high‑tech electrical systems
