Description

Do you thrive on driving performance, supporting a team to succeed, and leading from the front on the sales floor? Vines BMW Guildford are looking for a positive, organised and process-driven Business Manager to join our Sales team. This is a fantastic opportunity for either an experienced Business Manager or a high-performing Senior Sales Executive ready to take the next step into a leadership role. This role is about more than finance and insurance. We’re looking for someone who will be a visible and influential presence in the showroom, working closely with the team to push performance, maximise opportunities, and coach colleagues to consistently deliver outstanding results and customer experiences. You’ll work alongside a talented and supportive team, including our Sales Executives, Used Car Manager, General Sales Manager, existing Business Manager, BMW Genius and Used Car Sales Support — playing a key role in driving the success and performance of the dealership.

Hours: 5 days across a Monday - Saturday - 8:30am to 6pm.

Salary: £41,600 & £62,000 OTE plus company demonstrator vehicle

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Be front and centre on the showroom floor, supporting the sales team throughout the customer journey
  • Act as a second point of contact for customers, helping build confidence and improve close rates
  • Support the team in structuring and stacking deals to maximise opportunities and profitability
  • Oversee enquiry management to ensure every opportunity is followed up and maximised
  • Coach, mentor and support Sales Executives to strengthen performance and capability
  • Present BMW Financial Services finance and insurance products clearly and professionally
  • Maximise opportunities to support both vehicle sales and dealership profitability
  • Ensure all finance and insurance activity is fully compliant with BMW FS, FCA and Vines Group standards
  • Provide customers with transparent and accurate information about finance and protection products
  • Maintain strong product knowledge and complete all required BMW FS training
  • Work closely with the General Sales Manager and sales leadership team to achieve performance and profit targets
  • Encourage consistent use of structured sales processes and added-value techniques
  • Ensure Sales Executives understand and confidently introduce finance and insurance options
  • Oversee the accurate and compliant completion of all finance and insurance documentation
  • Monitor cancellations, settlements and other areas that may impact profitability
  • Maintain high standards of organisation, communication and showroom professionalism

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 3 years’ proven success as a Sales Executive or Business Manager
  • Strong knowledge of finance & insurance, deal structuring, compliance, and relevant legislation
  • Ability to influence, negotiate, and build strong customer relationships
  • Experience in mentoring, coaching, and developing team members
  • Proactive, confident, and effective on the sales floor
