Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon positions (2x) at Vine Tree Vets in the Wye Valley. Salary up to £75,000 DOE (pro-rata for part-time), Welcome Bonus up to £8,000, Relocation Allowance up to £8,000. Flexible full-time or part-time hours. Full-time: 40 hours per week over four days (8:30am-7:00pm) with a 1 in 4 Saturday morning rota and time off in lieu. Part-time hours can be tailored. There is no out-of-hours or bank holiday work as we do not operate an emergency service.

About Us:

Vine Tree Vets is located in the heart of the Wye Valley with easy access to the Forest of Dean, Bath, Gloucester, Bristol and the Cotswolds. The modern, purpose-built practice was converted from a former pub in 2015 and supports a varied and busy small animal caseload.

Facilities include:

  • Two consulting rooms
  • Operating theatre
  • Imaging suite with digital X-ray, dental X-ray, ultrasound and endoscopy
  • Main prep area
  • Cat-only prep room with direct access to the cattery
  • Separate dog ward

The Team:

A close-knit team of 3 Vets, 1 HVN, 4 RVNs, 3 Receptionists and a Practice Manager. Many team members have been with the practice for years. The culture is positive, inclusive and supportive, with activities outside work to stay connected. Mental health is prioritised.
