Overview
England / contract / Negotiable β day rate
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst for a 12 month contract with deep broadcast media industry experience, specifically with Ad Sales or Scheduling systems. Youβll be a pivotal part of our project teams, bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Business analysis: gather detailed requirements from business users and internal stakeholders, ensuring a clear and comprehensive understanding of project needs.
- Documentation: document key project artefacts, including user cases (often provided in Excel), change requests, and change designs (stored in SharePoint).
- Testing and training: perform manual testing and develop test cases and test plans before handing off to the UAT team. Provide training and go-live support as needed.
- Collaborate with business users to review, refine, and add clarity to initial user cases, create change requests, obtain sign-off, and address queries from distributed teams. Engage in hands-on manual testing to ensure quality before passing to UAT.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst in the broadcast media industry.
- Specific expertise in Ad Sales or Scheduling is essential.
- Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to go-live.
- Proficiency with tools such as Confluence and SharePoint.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with manual testing and creating test plans/cases.
Work arrangement
This role can be remote with some occasional onsite meetings/workshops in London.
