About the Role:
As aWorkshop Controller you will be an integral member of the Aftersales Team, leadinga large workshop and team of technicians.
Your keyresponsibilities will include:
- Organising and controlling the throughput of the workshop, to ensure deadlines are met in a timely manner.
- Drivingproductivity and ensuring that the Workshop Team has a clear understandingof the performance of the department.
- Implementinga robust approach for ensuring that employees have visibility of dailyobjectives, and that progress is updated appropriately throughout the day.Ensuring that proactive action is taken to achieve successful outcomes.
- Evaluatingand distributing servicing and maintenance work, based upon an effectiveunderstanding of skillsets and competencies.
- Ensuringthat all documentation and records that are created and maintained by yourdepartment are complete, accurate and aligned with any governing qualitystandards.
- Previous experience in a technical role or within a workshop in the automotive industry
- Highly motivated toconsistently achieve targets
- Strongorganisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Excellentproblem-solving skills
- Full UK drivinglicence
- Previous experience in a similar role / in workshop control
