This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded sales professional who understands the modular construction market, has an existing network of contacts and is confident generating new opportunities rather than simply responding to inbound enquiries.
The successful candidate will take a proactive approach to developing new business, identifying opportunities and building long-term relationships with clients across the modular construction sector. You will be responsible for:
- Generating your own leads and proactively developing new business opportunities
- Identifying and targeting new clients and markets
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
- Building a pipeline of new opportunities from initial contact through to securing business
- Utilising your existing network and client relationships within the modular construction sector
- Researching and identifying potential new markets and opportunities
- Working closely with the wider business to understand client requirements and develop suitable solutions
- Helping to introduce greater structure and consistency to the company's sales process
- Providing regular updates on pipeline, opportunities and business development activity
We are looking for someone with proven sales or business development experience within modular construction. You will ideally:
- Have a strong understanding of the modular/offsite construction market
- Have an existing network of relevant industry contacts and, ideally, an established client base
- Be confident generating your own leads and opening new doors
- Have a proactive approach to sales and business development
- Be commercially aware and comfortable developing relationships at senior level
- Be self-motivated and capable of working autonomously
- Have a track record of winning new business rather than relying solely on inbound enquiries
This role would suit someone who enjoys having the freedom to manage their own workload and sales strategy, while having the backing of an established business. If you have a strong background in modular construction sales and are looking for an opportunity where you can make a genuine impact, we'd love to hear from you.
