Sales Manager - Modular Construction Remote with UK Wide Travel Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 + Car Allowance We are working with an established business within the modular construction sector who are now looking to appoint an experienced Sales Manager to take ownership of business development and help drive the next stage of growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded sales professional who understands the modular construction market, has an existing network of contacts and is confident generating new opportunities rather than simply responding to inbound enquiries. The Role: The successful candidate will take a proactive approach to developing new business, identifying opportunities and building long-term relationships with clients across the modular construction sector. You will be responsible for: * Generating your own leads and proactively developing new business opportunities * Identifying and targeting new clients and markets * Developing and maintaining strong client relationships * Building a pipeline of new opportunities from initial contact through to securing business * Utilising your existing network and client relationships within the modular construction sector * Researching and identifying potential new markets and opportunities * Working closely with the wider business to understand client requirements and develop suitable solutions * Helping to introduce greater structure and consistency to the company's sales process * Providing regular updates on pipeline, opportunities and business development activity About You: We are looking for someone with proven sales or business development experience within modular construction. You will ideally: * Have a strong understanding of the modular/offsite construction market * Have an existing network of relevant industry contacts and, ideally, an established client base * Be confident generating your own leads and opening new doors * Have a proactive approach to sales and business development * Be commercially aware and comfortable developing relationships at senior level * Be self-motivated and capable of working autonomously * Have a track record of winning new business rather than relying solely on inbound enquiries This role would suit someone who enjoys having the freedom to manage their own workload and sales strategy, while having the backing of an established business.
