Position NUVIA has several exciting positions available across the UK for Health Physics Package Managers. As a Health Physics Package Manager, you will be responsible for the management of teams of operational Health Physics resources at Client locations across the EDF Fleet within the UK. Ensuring that resources are utilized to meet the Client requirements efficiently and safely.

The role will involve overseeing the maintenance of quality and training of existing resources as well as new trainees across several locations. You will have regular interaction with our Clients at all levels as well as the Health Physics Management Team and will be required to deliver contract requirements. This newly created role will suit someone who has supervisory experience, excels at communicating at all levels and is looking to develop their career in an expanding organisation.

Profile Main Purpose of Job
  • Management of operational HP resources for Clients
  • To ensure that HP resources are utilised to meet Client requirements efficiently and safely
  • Ensure the provision of a team of HP Surveyors to provide most effective high-quality support to Clients with maximum efficiency
  • Maintenance of SQEP
  • Progresses Trainees across the EDF Fleet
Position in Organisation
  • Reporting to the Health Physics Generation Operations Manager
  • Responsible for the identification of required recruitment of trainees and SQEP resources, allocation of resources and prioritisation of where resources are deployed within the EDF Fleet
  • Provide guidance for Site Managers and Supervisors and HP staff at sites
  • Liaise between Site Managers/Supervisors and other Package Managers to ensure prompt and efficient response to work requests including utilisation across sites
