Responsibilities
- Assist in the developing, implementing and maintaining of quality control procedures and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of processes, materials, and finished products to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish quality objectives, performance metrics, and corrective/preventive actions.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on quality processes, procedures, and best practices to foster a culture of quality excellence.
- Participate in investigating customer complaints and non-conformance issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Identify and manage the control of Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).
- Manage Emero database for site QA deliverable documents.
- Monitor and analyse quality data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for process optimization.
- Participate in quality improvement projects to enhance product/service quality, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components meet our standards.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to quality performance, compliance, and corrective actions for management review.
- Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in quality management to continuously improve our quality systems.
Qualifications
- Experience in quality control/assurance, preferably in transmission sector.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001, etc.) and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make sound decisions.
- Internal Auditor certificate preferred.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and precision.
- Proficiency in MS Office and quality management software/tools.
