Job Type: Full-time (37.5 hours/week)

Do you have expertise in wiring and a passion for automation? Actemium Automation Peterborough is looking for a committed Senior Wireperson to become a key part of our team. Supporting the Workshop Manager and team to assemble metal enclosures and wire electrical components. You will be executing precise wiring tasks for control systems projects in the snack industry. Within this role you will be asked to travel internationally, predominantly assisting and overseeing your projects around the world. In total this will be around 30% of your working year with us.
Your day-to-day:
- Assembling of stainless and mild steel enclosures
- Laying out chassis plates using measuring tape, ruler, drills, taps and rivets
- Wiring electrical components to specified drawings using stripping and crimping tools
- Travel within UK and abroad on the requirements of Projects
What you bring:
- Level 3 Electrical Engineering – City and Guilds
- Experience in electrical wiring
- Ability to build metal panels and enclosures to a high quality standard, in line with deadlines and complying with industry and customer standards and regulations
