The Opportunity

We’re looking for a motivated and organised Internal Sales Support professional to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the heart of a business—supporting sales activity, building customer relationships, and playing a key role in delivering essential industrial services.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Responding promptly to inbound sales enquiries relating to switchgear, power distribution equipment, and associated products
  • Collaborating closely with our engineering and delivery teams to ensure a smooth customer journey from enquiry to completion
  • Building strong, lasting relationships with both new and existing clients
  • Proactively tracking and following up on quotations and leads to support business growth
  • Maintaining accurate records within CRM systems to support reporting and project tracking
  • Supporting wider business development initiatives, including campaigns and customer engagement activity

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in internal sales or sales support (technical or industrial background is advantageous, but not essential)
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication skills and a naturally customer-focused approach
  • Confidence using CRM systems and standard Microsoft Office tools
  • An interest in electrical engineering, switchgear, or industrial environments (full training provided)
  • A positive, proactive attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality service
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team
  • Relevant qualifications in business, sales, or electrical engineering are desirable but not essential.

Working Pattern & Flexibility

  • Flexible hours available (20–40 hours per week)
  • Open to part-time and term-time working arrangements
  • Hybrid model: Following an initial training period, you will typically work 2 days per week in the office and the remainder from home
  • During training, more regular attendance at our Honiton site will be required to support onboarding and development
