Twyver is a specialist provider of LV switchgear, control panels, and critical power solutions, with over 80 years of engineering excellence. Based in Gloucester and part of the VINCI Energies Group, we design and manufacture high-quality electrical switchgear solutions. We are looking for a motivated and detail oriented Electrical Apprentice to join our team. This role is an excellent opportunity to develop practical and technical skills while working towards a Level 3 Electrical Installation apprenticeship. We are passionate about developing future talent. Our apprenticeships offer the opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands‑on experience and receiving structured training from senior engineers and an approved training provider. Successful applicants will be invited to an on‑site open evening to meet the team, explore the premises and find out more about the role and apprenticeship programme.

Location: Twyver (Gloucester)

Hours: Full time (day release at college)

Salary: JIB rates (can be found here)

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the manufacturing, assembly and wiring of electrical switchboards to schematic drawings.
  • Learn to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
  • Support testing, fault finding, and inspection of completed panels.
  • Use hand tools and electrical test equipment safely and correctly.
  • Follow health & safety, quality, and company procedures at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with engineers and production staff.
  • Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
  • Complete all apprenticeship coursework, assessments, and on‑the‑job training requirements.
