The Bid Estimator is responsible for developing accurate, competitive and commercially viable tenders for renewable energy and electrical infrastructure projects, from initial enquiry through to final submission and handover., Including but not limited to the following: Review tender/ITT documentation, drawings, specifications and scope requirements. Develop detailed estimates covering labour, materials, plant, subcontractors, design, testing and commissioning. Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations. Work with engineering, procurement and project teams to develop a buildable and competitive solution. Identify project risks, assumptions, exclusions, interfaces and scope gaps and include appropriate allowances. Prepare tender clarifications, qualifications, pricing schedules and supporting documentation. Assist with construction methodology, programme and resource planning. Review NEC3/NEC4 contract conditions and assess their impact on cost and risk. Prepare estimates for internal review, governance and approval. Ensure accurate and timely tender submissions.
