About The Role: We are looking for an organised and detail‑focused Finance Administrator to support the finance administration activities within our E‑Mobility Business Unit. You will contribute to delivering a consistent and efficient service to employees, customers and suppliers, ensuring all finance processes run smoothly and compliant with business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain customer and vendor accounts for the Business Unit.
- Raise GRNs and process purchase invoices using our accounts‑payable automation system integrated with SAP, ensuring CIS and DRV compliance where required.
- Prepare and distribute sales invoices.
- Process weekly timesheets in support of the Central Payroll team.
- Set up new projects in the finance system, including loading budgets.
- Provide debtor support as needed.
- Ensure all financial data and transactions are accurate, timely, and aligned with Vinci processes and general accounting rules.
- Support year‑end audit activities by supplying required information.
- Compile data and complete the Business Unit’s quarterly environmental reporting (eVE).
- Maintain compliance with the company’s Internal Control Manual and all relevant procedures.
- Provide absence cover for the Business Unit Administrator when required.
Person Specification
- Strong administrative background, ideally within finance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels.
- Friendly, approachable and able to build trust‑based relationships.
- High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to meet deadlines in a busy environment.
- Proactive problem‑solver with a positive approach.
- Strong IT skills, especially Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.
- Self‑motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Grade 4/C or Level 2 in Math's and English (or equivalent).
