The Quality Records Support Officer is responsible for delivering and monitoring the Documents, Records, Authorities and Certificates arrangements to support ONR Nuclear Licence Conditions 6 obligations with respect to Lifetime Quality Records (LTQR).
Responsibilities
- Carry out non‑technical reviews and, where qualified and trained, technical reviews of LTQRs under the supervision of the LTQR Lead and/or QML.
- Cross‑check the consistency of LTQR related information across multiple computer software programmes.
- Assist with workshop facilitation, requirements gathering and compilation of findings.
- Provide regular progress reporting to LTQR Leads and/or QMLs.
- Prepare materials for engagement with Regulators when requested.
- Support the Documents, Records and Completions organisation with efficient and effective work.
- Participate in defining and implementing solutions and monitoring their effectiveness.
- Champion the Records Management Processes across the project and with external stakeholders.
- Seek continuous improvement of Records Management performance across the project.
- Perform any other duties requested by the Documents, Records and Completions management.
Essential Knowledge & Skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to take direction and prepare presentation material.
- Advocacy for best practice, able to support and defend practical deployment and solutions while remaining open to others’ ideas.
- Understanding of Records / Document and Data Management methodologies and tools within a major infrastructure project environment.
- Knowledge of QA processes and ability to read, interpret and translate requirements.
- Minimum A level / equivalent or relevant experience that demonstrates organisational skills.
- Experience interfacing with project teams and supply chain organisations.
- Analytical skills: data analysis, report preparation and recommendation making.
Desirable
- Experience with Teamcenter, Documentum, CEMAR, Business Objects, or Power BI.
- Experience in Technical Authoring.
- SQEP experience in an engineering discipline such as welding, coatings, electrical or mechanical.
- Experience in Records / Document / Data / Information management.
