We are seeking a BIM Engineer to join our dynamic team at the UCL campus in Stratford.
In this pivotal role, you will oversee BIM, asset management, and digital engineering, ensuring seamless integration with UCL’s Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS).
You’ll be at the forefront of digital transformation, enhancing operational efficiencies through intelligent asset management and data-driven strategies.
The successful candidate will be a motivated digital professional with a comprehensive understanding of BIM and asset management. You will thrive in dynamic environments, leading with innovation and precision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update UCL’s BIM model, ensuring accessibility for UCL Estates staff.
- Lead the integration of BMS, EMS, IoT sensors, and other control systems into VINCI’s IWMS.
- Enable live interfaces between IWMS and UCL’s BMS system.
- Develop and coordinate UCL’s Digital Strategy and Improvement Projects.
- Use BIM models for accurate data reporting and cost analysis.
- Deliver Digital Twins that meet client and industry standards.
- Manage and transform data for analysis, import, and reporting tasks.
- Provide training on digital tools and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proven expertise in BIM implementation and management.
- Experience with CAFM systems and asset management strategies.
- Proficient in tools like Viewpoint for Projects, Autodesk Revit, Leica Register 360, BIM 360 Glue, Autodesk Navisworks, Synchro Pro and Solibri Model Checker
- Strong analytical skills, capable of identifying trends and improving processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management, with a collaborative approach to digital strategy.
