Support the Electrical Contracts Manager to ensure the smooth delivery of Electrical site works and project management.

Working closely with the supply chain, the Electrical Services Manager and Project Managers to support the successful completion of site works and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project & Operational Support
  • Assist the Contracts Manager in the planning and coordination of ongoing electrical projects.
  • With guidance, create and maintain project plans, schedules, and progress trackers.
  • Support site electricians by preparing documentation, helping to organise resources, and ensuring timely communication.
  • Help develop and update Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) in line with company, customer and industry standards.
  • Coordinate the delivery of materials, tools, and equipment to site as required.
  • Procurement & Resource Planning
  • Engage with the supply chain and source materials in line with project requirements.
  • Track material usage, delivery dates, and supplier performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, equipment, and consumables.
  • Responsible for replenishing workshop/stores stock levels
  • Assist with workforce planning, scheduling, and allocation of site labour.
  • Training & Compliance
  • Organise training sessions, renewals, and competency records for site staff.
  • Maintain up-to-date training matrices and certification logs for site teams.
  • Support compliance activities including document control, audits, and safety reporting.
  • Manage the asset and testing records of tools and equipment.
  • Work with our SHEQ Manager to plan and coordinate updates to our QMS and completion of actions relating to Health & Safety
  • Administration & Coordination
  • Prepare reports, meeting notes, and project documentation for internal and client use.
  • Maintain organised digital and physical filing systems.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth communication.
  • Support general office administration and routine tasks as required.
  • Knowledge
  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • No prior industry experience required, but an interest in electrical contracting or construction is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) - experience with project planning tools is a bonus
