A Senior CAD Technician is required to produce 2D EV Charging Schematics illustrating Charger Locations, Civil Works (Trenching/Moling Paths), Electrical Containment, Car Park Spaces, Vehicles, Kerbing, Landscaping, etc., for internal and external environments. Experience in producing basic electrical schematics, electrical single line diagrams, and general arrangement drawings from engineers' designs is also required. AutoCAD is the preferred platform for all requirements. The role involves developing a standardised approach for efficient and consistent production of these drawings, offering an opportunity for a technician to bring ideas and innovation.

Main Responsibilities
- Develop a standardised approach for producing schematics efficiently with consistency and quality.
- Support Project Managers.
- Order parts and equipment.
- Produce O&M documentation for projects.

The Person
- An ONC/HNC in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent is advantageous but not essential.
- AutoCAD experience is preferable; further training will be provided.
- An interest in new technology such as EV Charging and Renewables is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Calm, professional manner.
- Positive 'can do' attitude and willingness to support the team in various aspects.
