Join our Team as a Finance Business Partner

Location: Ilkeston | Type: Full-time (37.5 hours/week) | Salary: £45k - £55k DOE

Actemium Automation Nottingham is seeking a proactive and analytical Finance Business Partner to support our business through financial insight, operational support, and strategic partnership. This role involves partnering with business units, delivering financial reports, and supporting planning and budgeting processes.

What You'll Do:

  • Partner with the Business Unit General Manager to support operations and strategy.
  • Provide accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis.
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, project accounting, and cash flow management.
  • Collaborate with operational and admin teams to embed financial best practices.
  • Coach team members and contribute to leadership within the business unit.

What You Bring:

  • Qualified accountant (CIMA or equivalent preferred).
  • Strong understanding of finance functions: accounting, tax, VAT, payroll, cash flow.
  • Experience in financial planning, budgeting, project cost control, and statutory reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills, analytical mindset, and collaborative approach.
  • Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
