The Recruitment Assistant will provide operational and administrative support across the recruitment lifecycle, working closely with the Recruitment Business Partner to deliver timely, compliant, and high-quality hiring outcomes across Actemium Automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Recruitment Business Partner with end-to-end recruitment activity
- Coordinate job advertising, CV screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication
- Act as a key point of contact for candidates, ensuring a positive recruitment experience
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and data within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Support pre-employment checks and onboarding coordination
- Liaise with hiring managers and recruitment agencies as required
- Support recruitment reporting, metrics, and process improvements
- Ensure recruitment processes align with company policy and UK employment legislation
- Ad hoc duties as required
Person Specification
Essential
- Experience in a recruitment, HR, or administrative support role
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
- Confident using Microsoft Office and HR/recruitment systems
- Professional handling of confidential information
Desirable
- Experience in engineering or technical recruitment
- Familiarity with ATS systems and recruitment compliance
