Vinci UK Developments is seeking a motivated and commercially aware Assistant Development Manager to support the origination and delivery of property development opportunities across the UK. This role offers broad exposure across the entire development lifecycle, including deal structuring, planning, financial close, and delivery. Key Responsibilities
- Support senior leadership in identifying, evaluating, and delivering new development opportunities
- Assist with the management of live development projects from inception through to completion
- Coordinate internal teams and external consultants across legal, design, planning, funding, and delivery stages
- Conduct market research, stakeholder engagement, and relationship-building with both public and private sector partners
- Lead specific workstreams (with supervision) and report on risks, progress, and milestones
- Support the preparation of bids and submissions for public/private procurement opportunities
- Contribute to financial modelling, project reporting, and risk management
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance across all phases of development
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in real estate development, project management, or related sectors
- Knowledge of UK planning regulations, legal frameworks, and development processes
- Comfortable working with financial models, reporting tools, and technical documentation
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and coordinate cross-functional teams
- Degree qualified in Urban Planning, Development, Finance, Law, or a similar discipline
- Experience supporting projects through planning or financial close
- Exposure to public-private partnerships or joint venture developments (desirable)
