Purpose of Role
We are currently recruiting a Facilities Site Works Manager to join our Defence Division based in Andover.
Job Description
As a facilities manager, you will ensure seamless customer service while managing M&E, plumbing, and AC service streams for effective operational delivery. You will be responsible for subcontractor performance, site compliance, and fostering strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will have experience in facilities or service-driven contracts and an interest in supporting an MOD contract.
Responsibilities
- Manage the CAFM system (Maximo), ensuring all planned/reactive works meet contractual SLAs
- Coordinate subcontractor activities, including scheduling, inductions, and monitoring
- Advise on and arrange remedial works, obtaining client quotes for approval
- Assist in monthly client performance reporting and document compliance
- Upload and manage compliance documentation on Maximo and SharePoint
- Collaborate with Facilities Managers to develop resource plans and drive operational improvements
- Actively manage suppliers to deliver best value and ensure service excellence
- Support the Account Manager and Commercial team with financial oversight
Essential Qualifications/Skills
- Experience managing a large site
- Understanding of facilities management
- Experience delivering against KPIs and working with SLAs
- Knowledge of CDM, health & safety, and compliance (SFG20) legislation
- IOSH certification or equivalent
- Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
