VINCI Facilities is looking for a Principal Engineer to provide senior technical support on our regional contract with the Reserve Forces & Cadets Association. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong FM experience and a practical, solutions-driven mindset to take a leading role on a high-profile and critical estate. You’ll work closely with the Account Manager and operational teams, acting as the go-to technical expert across maintenance and project activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on technical support across the account – providing guidance to both in-house teams and external contractors
- Develop and maintain effective maintenance regimes, with a strong focus on compliance and SFG20 standards
- Optimise the use of CAFM systems to support operations, planning, and reporting
- Support with technical elements of project works, quotes, and business cases
- Champion safety, quality, and best practice across all engineering activities
- Identify improvements, drive innovation, and uphold VINCI’s high technical standards
What We’re Looking For
- Strong background in Facilities Management
- HNC in Engineering – ideally Mechanically or Electrical
- In-depth knowledge of maintenance compliance frameworks – particularly SFG20
- Proactive, hands-on attitude with the ability to support and mentor operational teams
- Technically confident and commercially aware
