Purpose of Role
We are seeking an Air Conditioning Engineer with a strong background in commercial building maintenance to join our dedicated team in Lincoln.
Job Description
You would be responsible for carrying out Air-Conditioning repairs and maintenance to County Council buildings and local primary schools across Lincolnshire . While the role is AC-biased, a multi-skilled approach and basic M&E knowledge are essential.
Responsibilities
•Carry out scheduled PPMs and respond to reactive maintenance and breakdowns across a range of commercial sites.
• Fault finding, diagnostics and repairs on a variety of air conditioning systems including Splits, VRFs, AHUs, DX systems, and some central plant.
• Support system upgrades and retrofit installations where required.
• Produce quotations for remedial works and system replacements following service visits.
• Accurately complete electronic FGAS paperwork and ensure team SharePoint updates.
• Work both independently and collaboratively with other engineers and subcontractors.
Essential Qualifications/Skills
• NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (minimum requirement).
• F-Gas (C&G 2079 – Cat 1) certification is essential.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent desirable but not essential.
• Strong understanding of air conditioning systems and general mechanical building services.
• Previous experience in a similar mobile commercial maintenance role.
• Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points)
