Purpose of Role

The Electrical Engineer would be responsible for undertaking electrical and building maintenance works.

Job Description

Electrical works including PPM servicing, fault-finding, and reactive breakdown repairs to electrical building services systems and infrastructure to include power, 3-Phase, distribution, emergency lighting, lamp/ballast/socket repairs, and alarms.

Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for PPM and Reactive Maintenance on site.
  2. Involved in extra works and/or project work.
  3. Ensuring reliability of the plant and associated mechanical systems on site.
  4. To work to set schedules, ensuring engineering standards are maintained.
  5. Prompt and effective response to all reactive maintenance issues and help desk requests.
  6. Minor installation work.

Essential Qualifications/Skills

  • City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2 / NVQ Level 3
  • 18th Edition (Required)
  • City & Guilds 2391
  • City & Guilds 2394/2395 or Equivalent
  • Experience in Electrical & Mechanical aspects of general building PPM schedules.
  • ECS (Electrotechnical Certification Scheme) card.
