NUVIA UK's Technical Services & Consulting department is fast growing with hybrid opportunities available up and down the country. We're striving to create a multidisciplinary team to offer our clients the best range of talent. BPSS clearance will be required at basic level. Prior clearance will not be transferrable.

The Quality Records Support Officer is responsible for delivering and monitoring the Documents, Records, Authorities and Certificates arrangements in order to support ONR Nuclear Licence Conditions 6 obligations with respect to Lifetime Quality Records (LTQR).

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Carry out non-technical reviews as well as technical reviews of LTQRs where qualified and trained to do so under supervision of LTQR Lead and/or QML.
  • Cross check the consistency of LTQR related information across a number of different computer software programs.
  • Assist to support workshop facilitation, requirements gathering and compilation of findings.
  • Provide regular progress reporting to LTQR Leads and/or QMLs.
  • Prepare materials for engagement with Regulators when requested.
  • Provide efficient and effective support for the Documents, Records and Completions organisation.
  • Participate in defining and implementing solutions and monitoring the effectiveness.
  • Champion the Records Management Processes across the project and with external stakeholders.
  • Seek to continuously improve Records Management performance across the project.
  • All other tasks as requested by the Documents, Records and Completions management.

Knowledge & Skills:

Essential:

  • Strong organisational skills with ability to take direction.
  • Support preparation of presentation material.
  • Act as a strong advocate for best practice, able to support and defend practical deployment and solutions, whilst remaining open to the ideas of others.

Desirable:

  • Understanding of Records / Document and Data Management methodologies and tools within a major infrastructure project environment.
  • Understanding and application of the QA processes.
  • Ability to read, interpret and translate requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

Essential:

  • A level / equivalent or relevant experience in a subject that demonstrates relevant organisation skills.
  • Experience of interfacing with project teams and with supply chain organisations.
  • Experience of analysing data, preparing reports and making recommendations.

Desirable:

  • Teamcenter / Documentum / CEMAR / Business Objects / Power BI experience would be advantageous.
  • Experience of Technical Authoring.
  • Technical SQEP experience in an engineering discipline such as welding, coatings, electrical or mechanical.
  • Records / Document, Data, Information management experience.
