VINCI Building is looking for an experienced Permit, Project Support and Stakeholder Manager who will be responsible for supporting complex, safety-critical infrastructure projects, primarily within aviation and major construction environments. The role provides end-to-end permit management, stakeholder coordination, document control and office management, and operational readiness support across a live operational site. The role also requires support for Industrial Relations and Operative Interface.
Key Responsibilities
- Permit & Compliance Management
- Manage works permits, isolations, WANs, RAMS, Work Permits and associated approvals using client systems (preferably Heathrow CMO or Gatwick P2W).
- Maintain permit trackers, monitor expiry dates, and ensure timely renewals and extensions.
- Act as primary liaison between project teams, subcontractors and client stakeholders to enable safe progression of works.
- Attend Permit Meeting and Client Surgeries and be supported by Construction Managers when required.
- Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with airport authorities, operations teams, contractors and suppliers.
- Provide a clear interface between construction teams and operational stakeholders to minimise disruption in live environments.
- Attend planning and look-ahead meetings to advise on permit status, constraints and requirements.
- Project & Office Support
- Deliver comprehensive project and office management support across the project site and team.
- Manage document control systems including CEMAR, Sypro and Dalux or similar.
- Raise purchase orders and manage suppliers using corporate systems (e.g. Connect or similar).
- Health, Safety & Training
- Maintain a strong on-site presence, conducting H&S walks and challenging unsafe practices.
- Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, fire training and re-inductions for large project workforces if required.
- Coordinate and track mandatory training and competency records.
- Handover & Operational Readiness
- Manage project handover processes, ensuring documentation is complete, approved and transferred to client systems.
- Support operational readiness activities including training, familiarisation and stakeholder engagement ahead of asset go-live.
- Industrial Relations
- Carry out IR audits as required such as time keeping and working practices.
- Undertake Operative Engagement sessions.
Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience supporting major infrastructure and aviation projects in live operational environments.
- Strong knowledge of permit-to-work systems, document control and compliance processes.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate complex workflows.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
Qualifications & Certifications
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme).
- First Aid at Work (good to have).
- Mental Health First Aider (good to have).
- Fire Warden (Willing to be appointed).
- Be able to qualify for an Airport Landside Pass (Mandatory).
