What You’ll Do
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing and delivering projects within specified timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards. You’ll coordinate project resources, manage client relationships, and drive the successful delivery of key projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple control system projects from inception to delivery, ensuring all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Foster a safe, motivating, and efficient work environment for your team, encouraging continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the design and installation teams to ensure seamless integration of project components.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of tenders, ensuring all submissions undergo technical and commercial risk assessments.
- Manage project risks, resources, schedules, procurement, and quality control.
- Promote a culture of health, safety, and environmental awareness within your team and project sites.
- Ensure compliance with ISO9001 quality management systems throughout project delivery.
What You Bring
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Extensive experience in project management, with a focus on system integration, PLC/SCADA projects, or similar technologies
- Experience in managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring successful project outcomes
- A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline or substantial experience in systems integration
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project and other project management tools
- Familiarity with project risk assessment and management processes
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards within project delivery
- Eligibility to work in the UK with a full UK driving license
