About the Role
We’re looking for a Learning & Development Manager to lead capability development for our Building delegation. This is a hands-on delivery role with real impact - designing and implementing training solutions that keep our workforce compliant, skilled, and ready for the future. You’ll partner with senior leaders to diagnose capability gaps, create practical learning interventions, and manage an Academy Administrator to ensure smooth operational delivery. This is not a strategic leadership role, but your insights will help shape workforce planning and influence business priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with senior leaders to identify capability needs and develop targeted L&D plans.
- Design and deliver training programmes across technical, compliance, leadership and soft skills.
- Ensure all learning meets regulatory and industry standards.
- Manage and support an Academy Administrator for the Building delegation.
- Analyse training data and present insights to stakeholders.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and development.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in Learning & Development - ideally in construction, engineering or operational environments.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
- Experience designing and delivering training programmes end-to-end.
- Line management experience and confidence working across multiple systems (HR, CRM, BI, finance).
- Collaborative, credible and proactive with excellent communication skills.
