Prepare Tender/Project Programme with minimal guidance and identify critical path, float, risk and opportunity.
Identify project critical success factors for the programme and make other team members aware of these.
Collaborate with other company staff to ensure that works are planned and organized accordingly.
Challenge and verify suppliers and sub-contractors programme and methodology.
Develop with guidance Pre-construction, design and procurement programmes.
Undertake what-if scenarios and report their projected outcomes.
Independently prepare phasing, logistics and timeslices along with associated methodology/narratives as required by the tender deliverables.
Identify requirements for temporary works and liaise with temporary works coordinator.
Compile prelim books for adjudication.
Prepare (with guidance) Scaffold, temporary services and crane enquiries.
Analyse (with guidance) Scaffold, temporary services and crane enquiries.
Liaise with Estimating Team at tender stage to ensure all attendances are priced (not duplicated) and checks are made to ensure s/c's have included for MEWP's, craneage, lifting plant etc.
Independently assess progress against programmes and report findings.
Meet Client reporting requirements.
Assist with the PM Report and populate the planning and controls sections.
Develop the programme and associated documents in line with the form of Contract.
Update Project Programme in line with the Contract.
Identify change and assess impact on the Programme.
Use the document control system to optimise distribution of information.
Work with the supply chain to establish effective relationships and ensure planning requirements are understood and being acted upon.
Actively target opportunities to exceed customer expectations.
Actively participate in knowledge share events.
Contribute to the planning input into the PEP documentation, client specific documents etc.
Work with the commercial team to ensure effective management of Total Costs.
Understand business need for positive cash flow and plan works accordingly.
Health and Safety: Ensure that the site Health Safety and Environmental Plans are in line with HS&E legislation and review their potential impact upon work sequencing.
Ensure that all activities are planned with time allocated for HSE needs such as documentation and approvals, training, competency checks etc.
