Responsibilities
- Play an active role in accounting and governance.
- Support to our Business as part of the finance team.
- Exposure to all areas of a finance function.
- Contribution to the accurate and timely reporting of results across the business.
- Coding and approval of invoices, ensuring they are made out to the correct legal entity and other various checks to ensure compliance with UK Statutory requirements.
- Raise and issue internal sales invoices.
- Complete VAT Returns, reconciliation to General Ledger and submission to HMRC in line with required dates.
- Populate cash books with both payments and receipts and post into Coins – our finance system.
- Submit completed month-end bank reconciliations by set deadlines.
- Reconcile General Ledger accounts.
- Assist in client audits and provide substantiation to support any costs as and when required.
- Assist in External audits and provide reconciliations and supporting documentation as requested.
- Provide reports to assist in business decisions and controls (Overheads, Staff recovery etc).
- Ensure accurate Quarterly reporting by completing Vision Packages.
- Various Monthly journals (recharges, overhead fees).
- Assisting in system testing as and when required.
- Prepare and Issue HSEQ Awards.
- Statutory reporting as required by frameworks.
- Assist with preparing the reporting packs.
Requirements
- Predicted 2:1 or above in Finance, Economics or other Account Management Degree.
- A full UK driving license.
- Within easy commuting distance of Widnes, North West.
