Working within the construction team, you'll manage the project common data environment (CDE), co‑ordinating and collating construction Operation & Maintenance manuals and Health & Safety information whilst also providing ongoing training and support to project stakeholders.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the construction O&M coordination efforts within the business in terms of our Operations (O&M/H&S file) and Building Safety (Building Safety Act/Golden Thread) software.
  • Implement O&M template and deliverables as baseline for all Midlands projects.
  • Review the contract for client O&M requirements and integrate with Midlands standard.
  • Create/utilise current information templates to suit client specific requirements.
  • Produce plans/schedules such as Landscape management plan; Fire and emergency plan (in line with Reg 38); Day One liabilities - warranties/maintenance agreements/spares/contacts; and Cleaning and maintenance schedule.
  • Full linking of manual.
  • Act as the main contact for our clients for the above services.
  • Assign workload to other project team members when required for chasing on site information.
  • Liaise with clients and their supply chain.
  • Collate project information within the Vinci platform for clients.
  • Check through issued information to ensure correct.
  • Attend any relevant meetings and regularly correspond with our clients, end users (including our Aftercare team) and suppliers.
  • Demonstrations of the use of O&M/H&S to familiarise the users on how to navigate and locate information.
  • One location within Company server for all O&M/H&S to be saved to/duplicates on our in house platform.

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrable experience of collating building information such as O&M manuals also incorporating H&S.
  • Basic technical understanding of building information and technical writing, data sheets, specifications, reports and certificates.
  • Experience of using CDE platforms with full technical understanding.
  • Good oral and written communication.
