VINCI Building are looking to recruit a Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering medium to large building projects to budget and programme. In this role you’ll work through Preconstruction before moving to site to initially lead a project team to deliver a circa £20 million scheme. You’ll be ideally located in areas along the M5 motorway corridor. Applicants with a strong H&S ethos, able to lead from the front delivering high standards of H&S and quality throughout the project.
Taking full ownership of the project finances working closely with the commercial team, you’ll complete and deliver monthly CVRs and chair client meetings whilst reporting project progress to the Contracts Manager.

- Review Health & Safety and investigate incidents, providing summary and recommendations.
- Carry out periodic inspection of construction sites to ensure compliance.
- Maintain strict adherence to the budgetary guidelines, quality and safety standards.
- Identify the elements of project design and construction likely to give rise to disputes and claims.
- Mitigate legal issues and defects liability for the business.
- Communicate effectively with the contractors responsible for completing various phases of the project.
- Decide on solutions to major issues and challenges.

- Maintain & develop overall strategy for the project.
- Develop plans to achieve specific goals.
- Ensure that construction activities move according to predetermined schedule.
- Monitor the progress of the construction activities on a regular basis and hold regular status meetings with all the sub-teams.
