We have an exciting opportunity available for an Estimator to join a well‑established and successful Regional Contractor Construction Company based in Wolverhampton. Our client is a construction and refurbishment company dedicated to excellence, innovation, and growth.

The Estimator role
As an Estimator, you will occupy an office‑based role and also carry out site visits/surveys when required. Working within a settled and collaborative company, this role will report to the Commercial Director.
Main responsibilities of the Estimator include:
- Travelling across the West Midlands to survey works and meet with clients.
- Compiling scopes of work from client briefs and documentation.
- All aspects of tendering.
- Sending packages to new and existing sub‑contractors across the supply chain.
- Compiling estimates of true cost from multiple sectors and presenting to the Commercial Director.
- Presenting clear handovers for the Commercial and Operational stakeholders.
Our ideal Estimator will have the below skills and experience:
- Experience in take‑offs of measurements.
- Main contractor experience preferable.
- Construction industry qualification, site/trade experience or both.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines.
- Ability to communicate and present clearly to all stakeholders.
- Experience using estimating software (Conquest preferably), preferred but not necessary.
- Experience with Excel, preferred but not necessary.
- Current and preferably clean driving licence.
