About the role
An exceptional opportunity is available for a Structural Engineer in Derby. This role will give you the chance to work alongside exceptional talent and be involved in the structural design and technical delivery on a fantastic range of projects across the building structures sector.
The role is ideally suited to a structural engineer who has gained prior experience in the "built‑environment" and is passionate about continuing their growth and development towards becoming a Chartered Structural Engineer.
This is an excellent time to join a highly skilled Structures Team. With new and exciting projects recently procured for clients throughout the East Midlands and United Kingdom, you can expect to work on design schemes across education, health, industrial, commercial and housing. Designs range from large‑scale projects to smaller housing schemes and have construction values from £250,000 to £45M. Many projects are undertaken to BIM Level 2.
Qualifications / Skills
- Strong analytical skills and a qualified Bachelor or Master degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or a related subject).
- Strong teamwork ethic, self‑motivated and able to work individually, with the ability to assist in managing less experienced team members.
