About the job Senior Structural Technician
Senior Structural Technician is required in my Client\’s central Birmingham offices. As a multi-disciplined Engineering Consultancy, they offer a wide range of services to Clients across the Construction sector with a strong focus on Civil and Structural Engineering for the built environment. This role is perfect for a Senior Structural Technician who possesses strong Revit abilities combined with a good understanding of BIM and ideally experience of working on BIM L2 projectsbuildings. This experience willenable you to provide a smooth delivery of technical drawings, details and models for structures.Excellent career prospects for the successful applicant to take a lead role on BIM andlead the work on my Clients BIM Protocols within an established team.

My Client\’s Birmingham office consists of a team of dedicated civil and structural engineering professionals who focus on the delivery of structural engineering schemes for buildings. Projects are varied and involve for example: high-rise, industrial and educational schemes.
Given the nature of this position and the projects you will be involved in, it is essential that those applying have very strong technical drawing and detailing skills and strong abilities in the use of Revit. You can expect to be involved in a good variation of design schemes so the ability work with steel, concrete, masonry timber would be ideal.
This role really does offer excellent career prospects along with hybrid working arrangements (3 days in the office and 2 from home of which they are flexible) along with flexible working hours so you can ensure you have a good work /life balance.
