Job Title: Senior Structural Technician. Location: Halesowen. Salary: Salary Negotiable – Dependent on individual Skills / Exp.
Excellent opportunity for a Senior Structural Technician with strong AutoCAD skills and expertise to join a busy Structural Engineering Department in Birmingham.
As a Structural Technician you will have excellent AutoCAD abilities and \”ideally\” be experienced in the use of CADS RC and Excel. You will understand projects of a \”buildings\” nature and be able to work on the production of drawings and details from foundation upwards.
The Role
- Preparation of engineering drawings and specifications
- Use of AutoCAD, CADS RC, Excel and other computerised design software
- Supervising and mentoring less experienced Technicians
- Liaison with clients and contractors
- Managing the delivery of projects
About You
- Excellent communications skills both verbally and written
- IT literate
- Ideally 5 years+ experience detailing in constructions, with some experience detailingRC.
- Ability to interact with a wide range of people including clients, contractors and other consultants
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team
This role does not have a set salary allocated to it as my Client is open to various levels of expertise and encourages all to apply who feel they would be suitable for the above opportunity.
