Excellent opportunity for a Structural Technician in Leicester. My Client, a Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy, seeks a Structural Revit Technician to join their established and reputable Structures Team in Leicester. Historically they have earned and maintained a reputation for delivering technical expertise to a wide range of projects of all sizes, values and complexities. This role will offer great diversity in the portfolio of projects you will be involved in and will therefore really enable you to further enhance your career and skill sets.
As Structural Technician you will be exposed to a wide variation of building design projects and typically you can expect to be producing and completing structural drawing packages and details in Revit and CAD for projects of varying size and nature from residential schemes through to large commercial developments.
Role:- Be proficient using AutoCAD and Revit Structures.
- Ideally have 5 years (minimum) experience within a structural engineering environment.
- Be able to work from calculations and sketches to produce high quality drawings and Revit models with limited supervision and instruction from engineers.
- Be willing and able to solve problems and present solutions.
- Be willing and able to professionally communicate (verbally and written) with clients, other consultants and contractors.
- Understand the construction process and how buildings are designed and constructed.
- Understand the BIM process and demonstrate the importance of coordination.
- Experience in steelwork, reinforced concrete, timber, masonry and foundations.
Salary offered will be commensurate with experience: 25 days holiday per year plus statutory days, flexible hours working policy, company pension scheme (after successful completion of probationary period), training and career development opportunities, friendly and welcoming team, free car parking, consideration of minimal home working (one day per week after successful completion of a probationary period).
Salary will be very competitive and will be offered on an individual basis commensurate with individuals skills and experience to date and therefore all levels of Revit skill/experience are encouraged to apply.
