A Junior Structural Technician is required by a well-established Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy in Derby. This role is perfect for a Junior level Technician who has gained approximately 1yr+ experience in a similar role as a Structural Technician. This opportunity will provide you with the perfect foundation to really build on your career and areas of expertise!

The Role

As a Structural Technician you will work on a broad range of projects. This high performing team of structural engineering professionals are looking for a diligent individual who can produce all relevant drawings for structural engineering projects. The projects are very diverse and generally challenging, incorporating bespoke new builds, refurbishment and heritage works.

About You

  • At least 1 years post qualification experience in a Structural Technician role
  • Experience in providing high quality concept, preliminary and detailed technical drawings for structural elements
  • Experience in communicating with a range of external and internal individuals

Essentially you will be confident and most importantly a personable individual with confidence in delivery of structural drawings. You will be ambitious, committed, and have a strong attention to detail to ensure an accurate delivery of work. You will work in a supportive and friendly team of professionals and will be able to communicate effectively with your peers and management team.
