A new opportunity for an Architectural / Structural CAD Technician to join a lovely, independent Engineering Consultancy in Dudley. My Client focuses on the delivery of architectural, structural and civil engineering design schemes for Clients mainly across the NHS, local authority, educational, industrial and residential sectors. They are a well-established Consultancy with over 30 years industry experience, over which time they have built strong and reliable relations with their Clients. They offer a warm, welcoming “family feel”, working environment with a team of both Design Engineers and Technicians with onsite parking available.
As a CAD Technician you will ideally possess a Degree of an Architectural nature and experience in producing CAD Drawings for construction based projects. This role is fairly diverse and you will be required to complete architectural structural and civil drawings and details for design schemes. Experience in all of these fields is not essential but the knowledge and understanding of an architectural nature would greatly benefit in the first instance. Support and guidance can be provided in other areas if required.
Ideally you will possess the following:
- Degree Qualified in Architecture
- Ability to produce construction drawings accurately, timely and precisely
- Ability to understand the additional input of structural / civil details for drawings would be ideal
- Ability to understand and complete additional structural drawings and details would be ideal
- Ability to work within a smaller team of professionals (there is a team of 3 technicians at present + Engineers)
- Ability to work from the office
The salary guide for this role is circa £30,000 - £40,000 however my Client is open to discussions for the right person.
