An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Structural Technician in Derby. This role presents the opportunity to join a wonderful team of highly skilled structural engineering professionals who deliver a multitude of building design projects, varying in both size and nature, offering plenty of variation, challenges and job satisfaction along the way!
My Client is a multi-disciplined Engineering Consultancy with multiple offices throughout the UK. Their Derby office is involved in a very strong range of design projects, and with new key projects having been awarded, the timing couldn’t be more perfect!
Overview of Role- Undertaking technical drawing work in Revit and AutoCAD on a range of structural engineering projects (buildings).
- Producing a full range of structural drawings and details including GA's, sections, elevations, plans and detailed drawings for projects of multiple construction materials.
- Working closely within a Team under the direction of a Senior Structural Technician and Engineer to ensure deadlines are met and client requirements are fulfilled.
- Utilising AutoCAD with a level of proficiency that enables you to work with accuracy and pace on allocated projects.
- Utilising Revit with a level of proficiency that enables you to work with accuracy and pace on allocated projects.
This role is ideally suited to a Structural Technician who holds around 2 - 5 years of technical drawings experience within a structures setting. There is plenty of support provided for career progression and further development.
