Main Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with commercial clients, tenants, landlords, and managing agents as required.
  • Obtain and analyse title information, drafting contracts and documentation for the sale and purchase of commercial property.
  • Manage pre‑contract enquiries, obtaining client instructions and preparing detailed replies to enquiries raised by other solicitors.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, commercial agents, lenders, and other solicitors throughout transactions.
  • Carry out administrative tasks including file management, document production, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support and improve internal processes and systems relevant to commercial conveyancing workflows.
  • Undertake additional duties as required to support the commercial property team.

Requirements:

  • Qualified solicitor or Legal Executive (CILEX) with experience in Commercial Property law.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to work alongside colleagues and with clients.

Compliance Officer

Oversee regulatory compliance and risk management across the firm. Identify, assess, and elevate compliance and regulatory risks. Review, develop, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and controls. Support internal and external audits and compliance reviews. Deliver compliance training and awareness across legal and support teams. Promote a strong culture of ethical conduct, professionalism, and accountability.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in a regulated legal environment, with experience in compliance, risk, or regulatory oversight – ideally as a qualified Solicitor although this is not essential.
  • Experience liaising with regulators and managing formal reporting or notifications.

Conveyancing Assistant

Request and coordinate documentation on conveyancing matters from third parties. Liaise with clients in person and by telephone as needed. Prepare SDLT forms and submit on completion, paying stamp duty. Request locality searches using the Infotrack system. Download title information and prepare draft contracts on sale. Request redemption statements on sales and check mortgage offers for clients. Obtain client responses to additional enquiries and submit replies to other solicitors. Maintain communication with clients, estate agents, and other solicitors. File, photocopy, and perform other clerical duties as required. Process payments and requisitions in coordination with cashiers. Contribute to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment. Support, maintain, and improve office procedures. Undertake any other duties as required by the firm.

Qualified Conveyancer / Residential Property Solicitor

Progressing client’s conveyancing matters from the outset to completion. Dealing with a range of conveyancing matters freehold, leasehold, houses, flats, shared ownership, newbuild, remortgage, transfer of equity. Operating case management system. Attending to clients and taking initial instructions. Liaising with clients when necessary in the office and by telephone. Advising clients on property law. Payment in and requisition of payments from cashiers. Contributing to the maintenance of a safe and healthy work environment. Contributing, maintaining and improving office procedures. Any other duties which from time to time are required by the firm.

Requirements:

  • You are an experienced Residential Property Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Legal Executive.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client management skills.
